Terms of Use
Last updated: 26 June 2026
These terms govern your use of the Up Lock iOS app. By downloading or using Up Lock, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Up Lock on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with these terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
2. Subscriptions
Up Lock offers an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks its features. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings; you can also reach this from Settings → Manage Subscription in the app. Auto-renewing subscriptions are also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
3. Health & safety disclaimer
Up Lock prompts you to perform physical exercises. You take part at your own risk. Up Lock is not a medical or fitness-advice service. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any exercise programme, especially if you have any condition that could be affected by physical activity. Stop and seek help if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort. Always exercise in a safe environment with appropriate space around you.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to circumvent its security, reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law, or use it in any unlawful way.
5. The app is provided "as is"
Up Lock is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will block or unblock any particular app at all times.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Up Lock and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
